Why everyone should be taking Magnesium
Let’s chat Magnesium! This is one of my favorite minerals! I am sort of mineral obsessed, lol. I mean, I am doing the Ningxia Red Reset and Ningxia is packed with trace minerals. But let’s do a deep dive into magnesium.
So why is Magnesium so important?
Magnesium is crucial for various bodily functions. It plays a key role in muscle and nerve function, energy production, bone health, and regulating blood pressure. Additionally, magnesium is involved in over 300 biochemical reactions in the body, supporting overall health. Some sources say up to half the population is deficient in magnesium!
Something I love about magnesium is that you can take it internally and transdermally - meaning through your skin.

Unwind
Kinds Unwind - labeled for kids but I even take it because I like to describe it’s like having a chill pill, lol. Seriously mellows me out because it contains L-theanine - an amino acid that reduces stress (it can also be found in green tea) and 5-HTP which is a naturally occuring amino acid and a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that plays a key role in mood regulation. Lots of people use 5-HTP supplements to help with mood disorders, anxiety, and sleep problems.
Absorbing Magnesium
Let’s chat absorbing through the skin! An easy way to do this is via magnesium flakes - you can even mix them with our essential oils. These are my favorite flakes!
